Program will start in 2025! Join the waitlist to express your interest!
Imagine this:
You go from feeling overwhelmed, drained, and disconnected, certain that you don’t have a creative bone in your body…
…to embracing creativity with open arms, painting and expressing yourself freely each week, bringing vibrant energy, color, and meaning back into your life.

Not because you’re trying to become a professional artist.
Not because you’re chasing perfection or aiming for a masterpiece.
But because it opens a door within you to –
joy
connectedness
presence
calm
feeling fully alive
In this kind of creative work, the final product doesn’t matter.
Whether your art is bold, messy, or unconventional, it’s all welcome here —
YOU are welcome here. The magic lies in the process, in showing up and giving yourself permission to create freely.
Introducing a NEW era in your self-care and soul-care.
Over six weeks, I’ll guide you in stepping away from the roles and expectations that have defined you for so long so that you can tune into yourself without distraction. I’ll guide you in slowing down, connecting more deeply with your inner voice, and creating a safe space for your unique creative genius to emerge.

The science behind the healing powers of art
I can tell you anecdotally what a profound effect creativity has had on my life, but did you know that science backs it up too?
A growing body of research across various disciplines, including psychology, neuroscience, and medicine confirms that…
ART CAN HEAL:
- Emotionally
- Mentally
- Even Physically!
These are a few of the things art-making can do:
• Lower cortisol (the body’s stress hormone) and activate the parasympathetic nervous system (responsible for relaxation), reducing the physical symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression.
• Stimulate areas of the brain, fostering neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to form new neural connections.
Isn’t it wild that something so seemingly simple, painless and fun can be so powerful?

Worried you’ll be bad at this?
I understand! Many of us are raised to believe that creativity is reserved for a select few with “natural talent,” while the rest of us are left feeling like it’s not worth the effort to even try.
Well, I believe that we are all creative and a lot of us just forgot along the way.
In this program, you’ll learn a lot of fun art techniques, but really, it’s not about that.
The transformative skills you’ll gain:
(and they don’t just apply to art—they ripple into every part of your life)
• Releasing the need for perfection and control
• Embracing imperfections with self-compassion
• How to build a sustainable self-care practice through creativity
• Finding fulfillment in the process, not just the outcome
• How to cultivate authenticity and joy in how you show up for yourself
When we can stay present and accept our creative process as it is, “flaws” and all, we learn how to welcome this same self-acceptance in our lives more broadly.
Seems too good to be true, right?
This is where the growth and healing happen, my friends.
It is powerful! I can’t wait to share this with you!

Why you can trust me

I have taught transformational creativity workshops for the last 17 years.

I have supported many women like you to heal and grow through art.

I hold an MA in Clinical Psychology, and my training taught me how to hold trauma-informed space for people.

My lived experience with using art to help heal my own trauma means I practice what I preach and can empathize deeply.
I’m so passionate about this program because making art is truly my salvation
In my early 20s, I was finally able to speak my truth. After years of writing diligently in my journal and going to talk therapy, I still felt stuck and deeply affected by the lingering impact of my childhood trauma.
I serendipitously signed up for a “journaling with images” class, and it changed my life forever. Not only did this class spark a 30-year love affair with creativity, but it also began to heal my nervous system in a more profound way than I had ever experienced.
More recently, art healed me, again!
In 2021, just as I was coming out of the isolation of the pandemic, I was in a sailing accident that resulted in a severe concussion. I could not drive, work, or focus on anything without going into severe vertigo.
Once again, I found myself sitting on my couch for months. This time, because I couldn’t do much of anything without causing dizziness….. until I spied my art supplies in the corner. I tried it out and I didn’t get dizzy! Making art daily became a huge part of my healing protocol that brought me back home to myself again.
I truly believe it helped heal neural pathways in my brain. After a few weeks, I was able to focus again and didn’t feel so dizzy and disoriented anymore. It refocused me, grounded me and reminded me once again, of the healing powers of art!
I know in my heart I was born to help others with this work and I would love to invite you to take the first step on your creative healing journey!

“Margie’s class exceeded my expectations! I had no idea how powerful art journaling could be! It’s not about being some great artist, but instead learning how to express my feelings.”
— Sheridan S. Aspen, CO
Divine Feminine Astrologer & Astrological Life Coach

“Working with Margie was the catalyst for a huge amount of positive change in my life. Margie has a gift for greeting the wounded parts of self with such kind acceptance that they can’t help but heal.”

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be an artist? What if I’m not that creative?
No, you definitely don’t need to be an artist because these coaching sessions aren’t about creating masterpieces! They’re about the deep inner work we’ll do. So it’s all about the process, not the outcome! Beginners are absolutely welcome and encouraged to participate! All you need is a willingness to be open to the process. I find beginners are often the most free and get the most out of the process as a result. This is your chance to get messy, scribbling and blobby! Let it all hang out on the page, so you can let go of perfectionism and experience true freedom of expression!
Is this art therapy? Or how is it different?
Are you a therapist? Is this a good replacement to therapy?
I see my work as a wonderful support/supplement to therapy work, not as a replacement. While I do hold an MA in Clinical Psychology and know how to hold a trauma-informed space for people, I am not a licensed psychotherapist. Both traditional therapy AND creative practices have been essential to my own healing journey and I recommend both to you too!
What if I need to cancel or want to reschedule my appointment?
What if I am nervous to talk about my feelings or personal issues?
How are you qualified to help me?
Are online sessions secure? Will I be recorded?
Yes, your sessions will be recorded with your permission so you can listen back later and provided to you privately and securely for your eyes only. If you prefer not to be recorded, simply let me know and we won’t.
Is there anything I need to bring to my sessions?
How will I know if this is the right fit to help me?
I recommend you jump on a 15-minute discovery call with me. In this call, we can talk about your goals and see if coaching is the best option for you. I’m excited to connect! Click here to book a free discovery call!

This program is for you, even if you’re thinking…
I’m not a talented artist and I’m afraid I won’t like anything I create…
This class is very much centered around your self-care and healing, using art as our vehicle to get you there. Please don’t worry about whether you’ll like what you create! It’s not about that. I promise you that the joy is in the process, not in a finished painting you can hang on your wall. But I wouldn’t be surprised if you end up loving some of the things you create nonetheless! I haven’t had a single person in my workshops leave without at LEAST having fun and feeling like they accessed a new place in themselves.

It’s scary to be in a group…
Worried you’re going to have to show your work in front of the class and get critiqued? Don’t be because there will be none of that here! We are here to witness you (if you would like to be), but we will never judge or criticize your work. I assure you that we will call in the perfect group of kind, loving women who will lift you up and make you feel inspired to do this work.
It’s frivolous to spend money on myself…
Oh, this is a big one for us women! While on the surface, I know art seems a bit frivolous, if you’ve read this page, and heard about the scientifically-backed healing power of art as well as the way art has saved and healed me throughout my life, you’ll know it’s anything but frivolous. Your mental, emotional and physical health is the very best investment you can make for yourself. When you feel more joyful, less stressed and more present, it will ripple out into all areas of your life: more presence in your relationships, more focus at work and more capacity to be of service in the world.
