What is a sacred portrait session all about?

Hiring me to take your portraits goes way beyond a traditional photo shoot. I believe that photography and the relationship that we co-create when you decide to work with me is the perfect alchemical recipe to support your light and strength to shine through. I will capture the power, magic and beauty of wherever you are in your life’s journey.

I specialize in translating your vision into imagery that will reflect and support your personal or professional mission. Whether you are a speaker, coach, artist, entrepreneur, actor, writer, philanthropist or anything in between, we will co-create an experience that will accurately reflect exactly what you are offering. I will tailor your session to your specific needs and we will create images that tell the story of you and your brand.

Where do you shoot?

My sessions are all-natural light and shot on location. We will agree on location(s) that suit your individual needs. Whether you need professional headshots, branding photos for your website or personal portraits, I will find the perfect location to reflect YOU. Your location could be anywhere from a magical beachscape to a sailboat, to a funky urban alley to a five-star hotel.

What if I have never done this before?

Your session is unique to you and your needs, and my main goal is to help you to feel relaxed, comfortable, and 100% YOU in front of the camera. Even if you hate having your picture taken, I promise, this experience will gently change that! I always say to my clients when they tell me that they hate having their picture taken:

“I specialize in people like you!”
..I really do!!

All you need to do is show up with a willingness to step into this adventure with me!

What do your sessions include?

All sessions include fully edited and color-corrected images for your use. I lovingly work with each image so that everything you receive will look professional and polished.

What if I need to reschedule?

No problem! As long as you give me 2 days notice, your session fee can be applied to another date. If you must cancel within 2 days, you will have to purchase another session to reschedule.

What is included with the session fee?

A phone consultation, your chosen session (each one has its own perks), All editing and basic retouching (basic skin smoothing, color balancing and removal of blemishes) of images, and a personalized, password-protected web gallery of all of your images for viewing. Extensive re-touching is not included but is available at an additional fee.

Do you do “studio” style portraits?

I specialize in natural light portraits, and do not shoot in a studio or with studio lights. You will be pleasantly surprised at the effects we can create using natural light an unusual locations.

How do I get the images after the session?

I will deliver them to you via a personalized web gallery and/or DropBox.

How long does it take until I can view my edited images?

2 weeks, unless you opt for extensive re-touching, and then it takes longer (based on my re-toucher’s time frame)

Do you “Photoshop” the images?

What people usually mean by this is do I do extensive re-touching. I carefully and lovingly edit and re-touch each image. I do light re-touching which includes skin smoothing and blemish removal. If you want more than that, I outsource extensive re-touching at an additional fee.
